Dr. Alexander is double boarded in both Family Practice and OB/GYN.
Dr. Alexander began her career in medicine as a volunteer at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. She then went to work as a Nurses Aid and LPN in Dearborn, Michigan. She completed her BSN at Wayne State University in 1971. While working as a CCU/ICU nurse at University Hospital, she completed her pre-med courses at University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. She then went on to Medical School at Wayne State University. She continues to serve on the Alumni Board of her Alma Mater.
Dr. Alexander’s hobbies include music and mission work. She has volunteered as a choir director and church organist. She has been involved with missionary work in the communities she serves and also led an expedition to Tanzania, E. Africa, to build a clinic, hospital and school where she visits to see patients on an annual basis.
Dr. Alexander sees Gynecological/High Risk OB patients at the Richland Medical Center.
